As you are well aware there have been significant developments in Social Networking over the last few years. I have found it interesting to see what is happening, virtually throughout the world, in all things 41. For Region1 there is a Facebook entry and also one for Twitter. Nationally there is a Facebook entry for 41 Club and I publish below the links to these as well as a few others in the Round Table Family.
Maybe a few words of explanation might be a benefit in understanding this type of involvement. In Twitter I follow a number of active Round Tables, particularly in Scotland, I also follow a few international Clubs and this interest is purely to assist in the understanding of the activities that the Clubs are undertaking. In Facebook my initial interest was to publish our genealogy research for the younger generation, having succeeded with this it quickly became apparent that there were many activities by 41 Club that were being published, again full of interest. A word of warning, some of the Facebook entries are not as focussed as those from Region 1 :-) and verge on the banal, but great for the immediate family who may be following a father's / husband's routine. Further to a request from Bridge of Weir Chairman Bill Christie. there has been a LinkedIn DGroup created, If you wish to join click on the link next to Twitter |
